Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon:
Ingredients:
1 pound (or however many you want) fresh brussels sprouts
Sea Salt
Pepper
Garlic, minced
Bacon, chopped
Drizzle of Olive Oil
1 teaspoon of VitaD Fortified™ Whole Food Spice Powder
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Wash brussels sprouts, removing outer leaves and stems. Cut each in half. Make sure the sprouts are dry and not dripping in water. Toss sprouts, sea salt, pepper, VitaD Fortified™ Whole Food Spice Powder, and minced garlic in a bowl, drizzling just enough olive oil to lightly coat the sprouts. Place in a roasting pan and sprinkle the chopped bacon bits on top. Cook for 20-35 minutes, checking often to make sure they brown but do not burn.
Mashed Cauliflower:
Ingredients:
1 head of Cauliflower
Roasted Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Chopped Rosemary
Salt
Pepper

Chop cauliflower into florets and steam until soft, about 10 minutes. Drain cauliflower and transfer to a food processor. Add in roasted garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, and VitaD Fortified™ Whole Food Spice Powder. Turn on food processor and let run for a few minutes until you achieve a mashed potato-like consistency.
Chopped Kale Salad:
Ingredients:
Kale
Assorted Toppings (nuts, fruits, seeds, avocado, tomato, etc.)
Dressing (olive oil, apple cider vinegar, etc.)

This recipe is almost too easy. Rinse, pat dry, and chop kale. Add to a bowl and massage with your hands until you feel it start to soften. Do not skip this step!
